My approach to psychotherapy honors the unique process of each individual while also remembering the larger connection to being human. It is depth-oriented, drawing from Jungian, analytic and psychoanalytic psychology.

The trust in the psyche of my clients leads the psychotherapeutic process. For some this may be primarily verbal, for others it may include authentic movement, sandplay or other creative arts therapies.

Mind-body and creative arts therapy* allows the client to access, integrate and transform aspects of their personal history that are beyond words.

*Working with movement allows emotions, memories and tensions stored in the body to be accessed. Images and feelings can then be put into form and verbally integrated.

Sandplay also allows the psyche to reveal itself nonverbally in a direct experience of bridging the conscious and unconscious.
